Friendly owners. Very accomodating. Exceptionally clean, serviced the room beautifully even though we were only staying two nights. Attention to detail, they have thought of all the little things that make you want to return. Super sized bed. Heating was fantastic. Water pressure in shower was awesome. Great location, easy walk to the lake. Washing machine/dryer facilities affordable and dried the clothes quickly. We will definitely recommend to family and friends.

We arrived for three nights at this motel, and from the moment we arrived we were shocked, first of all a couple with a slant welcomed us with a smile and a desire to help, immediately she wanted to open the door for us and waited until we finished registering and booking the cruise. All our difficulties were received with a smile, the room is very clean and equipped. No words, excellent value for the price.

The suite was really large, nice kitchenette, good size living/dining room. Bathroom was newly renovated and very nice. The couple running the place were wonderful and wanted to ensure you had a good stay. Ample parking, a block from the lake and close to all the restaurants.

I like the location. The room was clean and tidy. You can park your car just front of the room. Room was warm. We all love it. Kitchen was clean and tidy. They provide tea / Cofee and milk. Friendly staff.

Really Busy in Te Anau, but proximity to walk to town and the lake at a reasonable price made this the perfect stopover for us. The Bus for our Milford Sound tour was also able to pick us up (drop us off) at the front of this accommodation which made everything very easy.

This review covers all my stays here totaling a little over a week, as I was in town for an extended period doing both the Kepler Track and Milford Track. The staff here really went above and beyond to make my stay as comfortable as possible and to make planning for the Great Walks as easy as possible. When my car had a flat tire, they offered to drive me to the service station if needed. When they saw me changing the tire myself, they offered to help and offered their tools. They also made sure my car was safe during both Great Walks. When I returned from my first Great Walk, they even remembered my pillow preference and had the room already set up that way. The room itself was great. Everything was very clean. Decent sized living room to hang out in. Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was clean and modern. Great shower; both the shower head and the water pressure. The motel is less than a five minute walk to the DOC Visitor Center, making it very convenient for Great Walk transportation. It's a short ten minute walk to all the restaurants and shops.

Very clean and it has a kitchen and the bed was nice and warm with a heated blanket. You can park right in front of your room which was very convenient. I also like the owners as they were friendly and allowed us to leave our luggage for a few hours at their property after checking out.

It is value for money (clean, comfortable), the place comes with a kitchen which is really useful when all the restaurants in the town centre are fully booked (though try not to cook things that are too smoky to avoid triggering the smoke alarm).

We arrived in Te Anau in midst of the polar blast. The hosts had the room warm at our arrival and it was a blessing to step into a nice cozy room. What I like was that they kept up communication with us as road closures and delays were expected. The beds were comfortable. All amenities were available. They were happy to accomodate our needs - the laundry was a bonus. We definitely look to return.

Good location , dvd and alot of movies in the room for select. me and my son stayed 2 nights , the staff are great and helpful, we get from the reception recommended Chinese fast food and it's was perfect ! They clean and set the room including bedding at day 2 and it's was great, thank you .
